In 2005, the Indian Government nominated Amol Palekar’s “Paheli” much to the chagrin of movie-goers. Last year they did better by nominating Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s “Rang De Basanti.” This year they have nominated Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s “Eklavya”.
